M Event 2019 - Teacher Appreciation Days and Back to School Block Party

What:   Staples Back To School Block Party -
Please join us, along with local outreach organizations, small business owners, and vendors, for two days of giveaways, prizes, raffles, games, arts and crafts, teacher gifts, food, refreshments, entertainment, and much more. 

Pencil Me In For Kids will be collecting school supply donations to fill a bus!  Proceeds will be distributed throughout schools in our community.

Where: Westwood Village Staples – 2501 SW Trenton Street. Seattle, WA 98106

When: Saturday, August 17^th 9am-9pm – Sunday, August 18^th 10am-6pm

Why:  The West Seattle Staples is focused on bringing the community together while celebrating all of our local teachers and all they do for our children!
 
This summer, Staples will support our teachers in the following ways….

1. #ThankATeacher – 10 classrooms will receive $10,000 worth of school supplies this year

Thank a Teacher Campaign – Encourages everyone- student, parents, and beyond – to reach out and say thank you to a teacher that has impacted them.  This back to school season Staples provides the platform to thank the teacher or teachers you have been meaning to, with a chance to win 1 of 10 prizes, each $10,000 worth of school supplies for that teacher’s school.  Please visit your local Staples to participate.

Classroom Rewards – For this back to school season, Staples has introduced a Classroom Rewards program.  Staples will match 5% of student and parent purchases, up to $250, to donate to a teacher of their choosing. For teachers to receive the rewards, they can register at www.staples.com/classroomrewards, or enroll in store, and we will start off the giving by gifting teachers $5 upon enrollment.

Our Teacher Appreciation Event will take place in our store during our first annual Back To School Block Party.  We have separate teacher gifts, raffle giveaways, along with food and refreshments, in sponsorship with Starbucks, The Sub Shop, Chipotle, and Massage Envy, with more to come.  

Back To School Shopping Event will also take place during our first annual Back To School Block Party.  Staples will continue to honor our back to school in-stock and 110% price match guarantee, to ensure we have everything you need this back to school season at the lowest prices.  Plus during our block party event, everyone will receive an additional 20% off school supplies, some exclusions apply.
