Description

MINDFUL IN THE WILD
Did you know that trees are really good for you? Join us to learn about the history of Shinrin-Yoku (Japanese Forest Bathing), the science behind nature’s ability to heal, and do some calming, meditative Shinrin-Yoku practices. You will learn how to open your awareness to experience the outdoors in a whole new way!

Jessica Hancock, MS, ND, is a naturopathic physician who uses mindfulness in her private practice in Shoreline, and as a teacher with Mindful in the Wild. As a former forest ecologist, she also loves connecting patients to the healing benefits of nature. Deborah Wilk, MA, LMFT has been a licensed marriage and family therapist for over 30 years and is a cofounder of Mindful in the Wild. While her private practice is in Issaquah, Deborah does sessions in wild places all around the Puget Sound area.
