Spend a cozy summer afternoon at the intersection of independent wine and independent stories. On Saturday, August 22nd, we are welcoming Lost The Plot, Seattle’s premier mobile bookstore, right to the tasting room for a full afternoon of browsing, sipping, and community swapping.

Whether you are looking to buy something fresh from the bookmobile truck, trade a beloved favorite at our swap table, or simply settle in with a glass of organic Southern French wine, this is the perfect excuse to slow down.

Shop the Lost The Plot Bookmobile: Step inside a beautifully converted mobile bookstore parked right outside the tasting room. Lost The Plot specializes in adult fiction, with a dedicated mission to prioritize brilliant stories by and about underrepresented voices, including BIPOC, queer, and disabled authors. Browse a curated selection of new and used fiction, unique literary merchandise, and their signature “Blind Date with a Book”—a mystery read wrapped in brown paper with cryptic clues.

Participate in the Free Community Book Swap: Bring 1–3 gently pre-loved books you’ve already read and are ready to pass along. Please bring copies in clean, giftable condition. Drop your books at our designated swap table, grab a glass of wine, and choose the same number of books to take home with you. Any books left over at 5:00 PM will be distributed directly to Little Free Libraries around our neighborhood.

Lost The Plot shines a spotlight on independent, small-batch authors who break the mold. We champion the exact same ethos in our glasses—sourcing low-intervention, organic, and biodynamic wines from family-owned domains in the Languedoc-Roussillon.

Come for the books, stay for the wine, and leave with a full bookshelf.
