Shop, Drink and Listen to Live Music in the Admiral Junction!

On August 27th, 2022 The Admiral Business District with support from the West Seattle Chamber will be producing a public activation event in the Admiral neighborhood called the Admiral Junction Funktion! The Admiral Neighborhood has been chosen as the location for this event to give back to the community and help the local businesses to increase visibility as the vibrant core of the North of West Seattle. We are thrilled to be guests in the neighborhood and it’s important to us that we communicate clearly with all.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Event hours are from Noon to 9:00PM on August 27th, 2022.
Load in begins at 8:00AM on August 27th, 2022 and will load out until 11:00PM on August 27th, 2022.
We will leave your neighborhood as we found it: litter and recycling will be handled by West Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
During the event hours, we expect between 300-500 attendees.
Streets may be closed or have limited vehicle and/or pedestrian access between the hours of 6:00AM through 11:00PM on August 27th, 2022.
We will have amplified sound during the hours of Noon and 9:00PM on August 27th, 2022.
Main stage will be located just south of SW College St.
Some of the restaurants may have additional entertainment on smaller scales.

Partial funding for the this public activation event is provided by the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development Neighborhood Economic Recovery Fund. The financial impacts for our West Seattle business community at-large resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, subsequent operational shutdowns and the closure of the West Seattle Bridge are immeasurable. The goals of this public activation event are to 1) increase foot traffic to at least 10 BIPOC-owned, LGBQTIA-owned or women-owned businesses, 2) partner with at least five local nonprofits to help produce the event and increase their visibility, 3) reach non-Chamber member businesses (with at least 50% of participating businesses being non-Chamber members) and 4) safely host 500 attendees from the community at the activation event.
